The Climate Campaigners has been developed together with the citizens in Lahti

Climate change mitigation affects everyone, not just politicians and companies. Everything works better when we do it together. That’s why we invited the residents of Lahti to participate in the environmental work by using the Climate Campaigners application.

The people in Lahti play a significant role in the project. Based on the feedback from the users, the challenges have been localized. University students have also participated in the development of the application.

The Climate Campaigners users can share their experiences and encourage each other. Users can also propose their challenges for the application.

The application has been developed in an international research project together with 12 other cities around the world. The application is available in several languages, including Finnish and English.

With the Climate Campaigners app, every resident of Lahti plays for the environment and speeds up the city’s climate work. Lahti is aiming for climate neutrality in 2025. Everyday choices play a significant role in mitigating climate change.
