Swimming halls and outdoor swimming pool

In Lahti, you can do water sports at the public indoor swimming pools of Nastola, Saksala, Kivimaa and Lahti. Enjoy summer days in outdoor pool Maauimala.

Swimming halls

In the swimming halls of Lahti you can enjoy swimming, aqua jogging and other watersports. For example, Lahti organises guided exercise classes for senior citizens, people with reduced mobility, people of working age and children.

Each indoor swimming pool reserves one half day for maintenance and one half day for the exercise groups for senior citizens and people with reduced mobility.

Following the rules and taking other people into consideration help maintain a pleasant and safe environment at the public pools. The public outdoor pool is open during the summer when indoor swimming pools are closed for maintenance.

Price list

Paying the entrance fee entitles you to spend a maximum of 2 hours at the swimming facility.
This also applies to season ticket holders.

Outdoor pool Maauimala

The public outdoor pool is located at the end of the ski jumping hill at the Lahti Sports Centre. The outdoor swimming pool is the city’s only 50-metre pool, with a shallow children’s pool at the other end. There are outdoor showers near the pools. The changing rooms, indoor showers and saunas are located in the ski jump grandstand building (Mäkikatsomo building). There is a café near the entrance.

The outdoor pool is open during the summer when indoor swimming pools are closed. In addition to swimming association sessions, the pool hosts swimming lessons and water sports classes.

The gym in the ski jump grandstand building is available to outdoor pool customers.

Arrival and parking

The entrance to the outdoor pool area is located on the corner of the ski jump grandstand building, below restaurant Voitto. Free disc parking is available in the Sports Centre’s car park. Disabled parking is located in front of restaurant Voitto. Bus connections: the regional bus lines 1M, 18 and 19 of Lahden Seudun Liikenne take you closest to the Sports Centre.
