Local sports clubs in Lahti will showcase their activities to foreign-language-speaking residents of the Lahti area. The event is especially suitable for young people and adults, both women and men. The event is a great opportunity to find a new hobby or even to get involved as a volunteer in a sports club. The event is free of charge.
Among the clubs showcasing their activities are:
- The floorball club LASB
- The football club FC Lahti
- The karate club Lahden Karate
- The fencing division of Lahden Kaleva.
Lahti-based footballer Drilon Shala will share his story at 16:00.

International House Lahti organises the Sport Club Day. International House Lahti is a service organisation for immigrant work in the city of Lahti, aiming to help all newcomers to Lahti integrate as well as possible and find the right building blocks for settling into life in Lahti. There are already 11,000 foreign-language-speaking residents in Lahti, and the number is growing rapidly.
