Public sector actors and organizations are especially encouraged to showcase practical examples of their experiments and successes in regional and urban development. For example, how can environmental goals align with profitable business practices? What methods can promote a healthy, active lifestyle at the regional and urban levels?
Your practical examples don’t necessarily have to be based on scientific research. The aim is to share best practices and find connections between research and practical work. The conference aims to foster collaboration among researchers, experts, businesses, and regional and urban development stakeholders.
The deadline for abstract submissions for scientific and applied research presentations is February 29, 2024, and for practical examples, it’s April 30, 2024.
Opportunity for finding project partners
As part of the conference, there will be a matchmaking session where participants can present their project ideas and find partners for collaboration.
The conference is organized by LAB University of Applied Sciences and the City of Lahti in collaboration with the Päijät-Häme Regional Council, LUT University, Lahti University Campus, buildingSMART Finland, Forum Virium Helsinki, and Avans University of Applied Sciences from the Netherlands.
